The Semantic Web effort is an initiative by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to provide a common framework that allows data to be shared and reused across application, enterprise, and community boundaries. If you live, work or visit a location that already has a active Semantic Web meetup community and you are interested to join you are welcome to participate in the meetings or the mailing list. lotico develops and promotes Semantic Web standards, and cooperates closely with standard groups in particular with regards to Semantic Web technologies.
